an update!
Okay...so... i have been completely out of East Lansing for the last couple weeks. My step-dad has been in the hospital. He had a very very bad virus that caused part of his bowel to perferrate. That part then had to be removed. That wound then got a yeast infection and it was decided that the operation wound would have to stay open... so... no stiches or anything.
He's been in the hospital for almost two and half weeks straight. I've been at my mom's house with my sisters as often as i've been able to. tomorrow he finally gets out of the hospital, but he can't walk, he's still on a lot of medication and he still has his colonostapy in. He has a very long recovery ahead of him. I'll be seeing him for the first time since he went into the hospital tomorrow after he gets home. I'm worried that i'll cry.
Anyway, that's what's been going on and if i seem distracted or depressed, this is why.
