Hello everyone! Sorry that the last chapter was so short, but I promise this one will be nice and long! So, we left Clarity trying to get pregnant after her heartbreak with Verne. She longs for a little girl, but will she get her wish?
Oliver: Hah! I have cornered you now, Mr Herring!
Lately Oliver had started fishing in his private backyard pond. He was getting quite good too.
Clarity was also inspired by the pond area, and started painting it. I suggested it as therapy, after her previous spell of insanity.
Clarity: I was NOT insane. I was just..... misunderstood.
Of course you were. Good to see you're back to normal.
Oliver and Verne were still super close, though, and Oliver started teaching him his vital life skills.
Incidentally, his first word was 'lightbulb'.
Oliver; Can you say 'lightbulb'?
Verne: LIGHTBULB! Teehee!
How cute.
Where are you dashing off to, Clarity?
Aha. Another bad burrito.
Little Verne loved his dollhouse, even preferring it to his playtable.
Speaking of Verne, he was bonding much better with his mother now that she was sane again.
Clarity: Naww, I love you, my little Vernie.
But it was still up to Oliver to teach him how to walk.
Oliver: Come on Vernie! Come on!
You don't look too hot, Clarity.
Clarity: Euurhghluburglekurgeyugruehg
About that bad burrito...
Clarity woke up bright and early the next day to spew her guts out!
Lovely.
Clarity: Aww... there's a little baby in there... you're mummy's baby girl, aren't you!
It seems all the trying for a baby paid off, as Clarity is now pregnant!
Sorry about Oliver, by the way. He was sneezing.
Oliver was very happy about the pregnancy, and felt the need to celebrate with Clarity...
In a thoroughly non-verbal way.
Determined to get a girl, Clarity stuffed herself with watermelon.
And seemed to be enjoying it.
Clarity: Nomnomnom. Watermelon is good!
By this time it was 1am in Sunset Valley, so she went to bed. The next morning, she gets up at 6 to go into the living room and work out- AND SHE'S HUGE! From the size of her, it's quite possible that she's having twins.
Oliver; Teehee, YAY!
What is it, Oliver?
Aha. Clarity is giving birth
Clarity: Eoguhhhaahh! OOOOOOOWWWWWWWWW!
Typically, her phone rings. The grocery store has an opportunity. YES, IT IS A BAD TIME!
SPARKLES!!!!
Clarity: ooh! aah! It's TIME!
And it's a... BOY!!!!!!
This bundle of joy is named Dean. He's brave and athletic.
IT'S TWINS! This cutie is named Luke. He's absent-minded and artistic.
IT'S TRIPLETS!! Welcome, last but not least, Edge who is a friendly virtuoso.
And that's where it ends! So, Clarity has now reached her legacy benchmark of 4 kids- but she still doesn't have her little baby girl. Will she try for a fifth child- or stay content with her 4 boys? All will be revealed in Chapter 5!! COMING SOON!
