So, uh.
Yeah.
Wow, has it been a year since I posted here? Whoa.
Anyways, instead of babbling and complaining about wanting to rewrite everything, I'm just going to have this post as a DRABBLE MEME yey

-Everything would go so much faster if you just admitted you were worried about him-
Kaito stood on the train, usual good cheer abandoned as he stared out of the window at the passing scenery, face pensive. Normally he would hide any such displeasure behind Poker Face, but he hadn't found it in himself to be bothered this morning.
-And it would also go faster if you just stopped lying to yourself-
There. There it was again.
All morning he'd been having the oddest feeling, like someone was talking just out of his hearing. Normally he'd put it down to picking up on background noise, but it had been happening since this morning, alone in his room. He couldn't be hearing such things from his room, with no one else in the house or nearby, and no radios or televisions powered on, either.
So, all morning, he'd had the niggling feeling someone was talking around him, to him, and he couldn't hear it or have the faintest clue what was happening.
-You would hear if you opened your mind just a little-
It was, quite frankly, driving him crazy. It made him want to invest in some earplugs, but the bothersome thing was he wasn't quite sure if it would help anything. And that thought just put him in even worse of a mood.
He'd been called crazy all of his life, but it was rather unsettling to think that maybe he really was.
-Just one talk with him, just one, and you wouldn't have to hear this anymore, just one...-
Sighing, Kaito stepped away from the windows as the train pulled into his stop. Hopefully a distraction would drive the strange feelings away.
And what better distraction than trying to pry into his favorite detective's life? Shinichi had better not have had anything important planned today, Kaito wasn't letting him go anywhere.
