"Fire Festival" sketches

Below are the sketches for my Princess Tutu doujinshi Fire Festival. The setting is post-series and Ahiru is a girl once again.

These are by no means the final versions of the sketches. Some scenes have been or will be redrawn/edited so the final product will not look exactly like these images here and there might be changes to the script as well.

Gah, have you ever thought of making your own original manga-based series? I get the feeling it would sell. XD;

As a side note, I love Ahiru's expression in the bottom panel of 11. There's a ton of stuff I like about this but I can't figure out how to fit it all.. >_>;;

I do have some ideas for an original story, but none of them are seem very good or are very well developed. ^^;; In the mean time though I'm content drawing doujinshis. XD

I can't help but feel if he's not careful Fakir's bangs will poke his eyes out, they're so pointy! XD I actually wanted to draw Fakir's hair differently from the anime, like what I did with Ahiru's hair. But the design of his hair is just so insanely stylized that I can't figure out a way to change it and make it look good. o_0

That's the most wonderful thing I've seen this month. Seriously. It's perfect, the timing, the rythme, your drawings... even the background pictures and random people look awesome. And the dance scenes left me speechless, both the Rue and Mytho one and the Fakir and Ahiru ones.

You are SO talented, girl. I would pay for a copy of your doujin anytime if you intended to sell it.

Totally random... I love the way you draw hands ♥. And Pique/Autor was lovely.

Are you thinking on inking/toning this doujin, maybe?

If I get to go to a convention after I'm done with this doujin I'm considering printing a few hard copies and selling them at the con. :) And yes, I will be inking and screen toning (digitally) the doujinshi. At this point with just a sketch it can hardly be called completed. XD;;

I know I've commented on this piece by piece already, but I have to say again that I really love it and I can't wait to see it finished.

And I'm so glad you decided to share it with everyone. It's very generous of you and it spreads more love for PT.

No problem. As I've said, there needs to be more English PT doujinshis out there. It's very frustrating when you see all those interesting doujinshis but you can't read them simply because they're in another language. >_
