Saturday Afternoon Updatin' Time.... (warning: cosplay-heavy)
Well, it's Saturday afternoon, and whenever I get my lazy butt off the computer I'm goind to finish Lulu. Did you hear me? I said I'm going to finish Lulu today! I've broken my Acen curse of finishing my costume in a panic in the hotel room the day I'm going to wear it. Actually, I think this is the earliest I've EVER finished a costume before needing it. That's what I get for starting it in November, I suppose. Of course, I'm also contemplating starting and finishing Anko from Naruto, and I have about 13 days to do it. The upside: it's really not a complicated costume. The downside: I'm not even sure where my coat pattern is right now, and I need it, plus more wig styling. I also found some decent fabric for Lehas to substitute for my first choice which doesn't seem to exist anymore, so it looks like I probably will put this costume together before I leave for Japan. When I do, anyone up for a Magna Carta photoshoot?
I've had two nights of weird dreams involving people I know and external influences, including stuff I've watched on tv and articles I've read in magazines. Strange.
I really don't have anything too exciting to talk about right now. Wow, I feel really boring.
Anybody want to do stuff later? After I finish Lulu and shower, I mean?
Oh yeah, and the Aquabats are coming to the Metro Thur July 7. Who wants to go see this awesome ska band made up of guys who think they're Saturday morning tv superheroes? (Coincidentally, I was listening to them in the car the day before I found out they were playing.)
