Mark is actually trying to tell a really stupid joke that I'm not following (he's tried to explain it twice, maybe I'm just too tired, I was sleeping until Bert's loud pooping woke me up). Actually, you're right -- they treat sheep really well in some places -- here, for instance (like the sheep in our neighbour's land). In some places (certain Australian merino sheep farms are supposed to be bad, for instance, although this practice is being banned in a few years), they are not so nice to the sheep (to prevent butt-worms, they cut the sheep's butt off -- it's more of a problem in hot countries, the butt worms). There is a breed of Icelandic sheep called Lopi, I think, where a layer of wool actually falls off -- in olden Icelandic days, they used to gather the bits caught in bushes and the like (I'm a wool nerd, I just realised).
But some people think it's still wrong for vegans to use sheep. (Same with honey, even from cruelty-free bee farms. I don't have a problem with honey, either.)
Mark is reading Bert "Goodnight Moon" and Bert is loving it.
