New Apartment
Hi ya'll thanks for tuning in for the next episode in my life drama lol.
This past weekend Amy & I moved from 512 Country Club Apts to our new apartment in Shavertown. We were really excited. And to be honest, I was in denial in the packing department.
Last week had to be the worst week I've had all semester... stuff due, exams, meetings, and PACKING. It was rough but I survived. Anyway...
I spent as much of my free time last week (which wasn't really much) cleaning the new apartment. Apparently the people who lived here before didn't clean the entire time they lived here. Oh well, it's done now.
Saturday Mark & Sam came down to help me move. Mark & Drew did the majority of the heavy lifting. With my my expertise... we got everything moved in. FYI--never move from one 2nd floor apartment to another 2nd floor apartment, it's a pain in the ass.
There are 2 bird's nests outside of our apartment... apparently one of the babies fell out of the nest... Drew managed to step on it and squash it to death, he swears it was an accident. I still can't get the image of baby bird organs out of my mind ick.
Saturday night Drew & I went to Wise Crackers comedy club and it was pretty good. I was exhausted though. Sunday I unpacked a lot more and then Amy & I went shopping to get junk we needed for the apartment. Now, all that's left is to finish unpacking. When we get things all unpacked I'll take pictures and post them.
Work update-- started 7:30-5:30 with the exception of classes & finals today. I'm doing this until June 18 when summer camp starts. I'll be working a lot but the money is worth it. We all know I could use it--save up for the apartment and books ahh!!
