this is her. our newest family member.
we got her from a private dog shelter. the little history we know of her: she'S a street dog, rescued from romania, her tail was probably ripped out. she'S afraid of cars, loud noises and people.
oh and those buggies - are they called that? you know those little things on wheels where you put your kids in? :o my english is dreadfully out of use lately. :P
she's deathly afraid of them, almost won'T pass them.
anyway, we got her from the dog rescue and put her in mom's car and drove home for over and hour. she puked twice the poor thing. mom was disgusted. lol.
when we got home, she was all curious and not as shy and afraid as we'D thought she'd be.
and she's already clean in the house. she peed in once because we didn't walk her as often as she needed to, but that's been fixed and no peeing problem since. :D
the only things that are not so positive:
she eats cat poop. or brings it as a prize into our bed. gross!
and she chases the cats. :P and then gismo chases after all of them. which sounds like a minor earthquake.
and she shoos the cats away from their food, then eats their food. and one of the cats, midnight, is afraid to eat on the floor when willow's around, so we put her bowl on top of the counter. and the little devil of a willow actually tries to climb up there and lick that bowl clean, too!!!
she'S so cute you can't be mad at her.
we even let her sleep in our freshly made bed. and once we'd let her sleep in it of course the others came along, too. :o
we're quite a happy little family. :)
and so glad to have willow as a part of it now.
