Back... Again!
I’m sorry for not updating sooner… Even if the flu stuck me to bed for a week (yah, even the “seasonal” one works quite well on me), even if my mother (hen), took a train to “help me recover” and stayed for another week, I must admit that I should have leave a little note about my recent whereabouts… *bow for forgiveness*
The highlight of the previous weeks is Mom in Paris. She made me laugh so much when I heard say to my father on the phone “She’s so weak… I’m not sure she’ll be able to handle herself soon (it’s not like I’ve been living on my own for 12 years Mom…). You don’t want your only daughter to die of starvation… so I think I should stay a little more.” Fortunately, he didn’t get to see the Boucheron’s private sales card or his “only daughter” waiting patiently for four hours in the wind and the rain to buy (another) ring… My first diamond in fact (if you don’t count the own I gave back after breaking my engagement).
