O to be a rat.

Can rats get tail rot or anything? Shiro's tail is getting really dark, its a dark brown now, and I don't know if thats normal or if he's dying. And all Google will tell me is that the rat tail was essential to the look of a mullet (WHAT?).

Other than that, they both seem okay. I need to get them a bigger cage, they're getting to be HUGE!
