Moving on
While I am looking forward to BEING in the new place, with lots more room for lots less money, frankly I absolutely hate that actual chore of moving. Especially with my arms hurting like they are now. I don't have much to pack, but the stuff I do have is HEAVY.
The one friend I was counting on to help has bailed on me, in spite of the massive amount of stuff I've done for him in the last several years. I'm trying not to be angry about it, but his timing couldn't be worse. I thought about hiring a moving company, but they want 100 dollars an hour plus gas, and I just don't have that kind of money.
Oh, well. I'll manage. I once moved the entire contents of my apartment by myself, including a water bed and a huge sofa, and I have a lot less stuff now.
