I had someone ask about a drawing a did for a tattoo... they wanted to use it, but if they did, I'll never know. People don't usually buy my things... and .. I donno.. I don't really create anymore, other than the occasional colour drawing or something like that. I wish I could get back into crafting. I'm going to be taking a ceramics class this fall, if I hopefully get into MJC (money is my issue, not really anything else.. I've already been accepted, but if they don't waive the initial fees, I'm screwed.. =( ... ) but like.. I donno.. I want to CREATE but I never have the knowledge or whatever, or the materials.. mostly it's the money. I never know what to do with my things I make anyway. I always feel like no one wants them. Maybe I should invest in a digital camera that is awesome, to take pictures of my craft things... that way the details can be seen, you know? And maybe I will put them on dA to sell... or I donno.. your crafts are better.

I want to learn to make really fantastic dream catchers... and I also want to do some metal work... I saw fantastic pewter sculptures and I used to make metal and crushed glass things in high school, along with sculptures.. I would love to learn how to do that a bit better. And also my waterfall candles...

So many ideas, and yet... I make nothing. =( Mostly because of money and lack of materials.

Do you have any ideas...? I really don't want to Draw for money... no one really wants my drawings anyway. Crafts are better, plus they are easier for me to work with.

Hm..

CONGRATS THOUGH! like I asked on dA, how much did it actually go for? Because it' amazing. I'm glad that it will be used as a ritual piece. that makes it even more amazing.

There's a question.. Have you ever tried wire wrapping? The metals and the materials can be as cheap or expensive as you want... and each wire wrapper has a different way of wrapping ( I've seen like eight styles/ people so far.. and I wrap different then them so it seems cool to do. Some use half round, quarter round, completely round, copper, brass, steel, sterling silver... and I know of one girl that works in gold/white gold.. which is.. O.o;)

Can even do copper and glass... make jump rings for a chainmaile necklace... or twisty wire hook and eye attachments. Mostly need a pair of pliers and a wire cutter. Fancier stuff can have use of a jewlers saw or a round nosed plier too.

DUDE.. you could put a wire wrapped jewel/rock in a candle! THAT would be nifty!

DOES. WANT!

I used to do stuff like this:

and

I've heard of wire wrapping, but I haven't actually done it myself. I was interested in it, though. I had my jewelry/wire works tools once upon a time but what's left of them are packed away in boxes down in Tennessee in storage. D=

One day... I will create again.

I hope that One Day is soon.
