"Do you know what I hate most about fairytales? They set up false expectations."

I know that this is like a week late but... omg so much love for the Evan/Rebecca scene at the end of last week's Greek. Like, even more love than I have for all the Cappie/Casey scenes.

Plus Rebecca's feelings on fairytales reflect my own in a way so I liked that.

The scene in all it's wonderful-ness:

Rebecca: My, what a half-ass costume you've got there.
Evan: All the better to ask you to dance with.
Rebecca: Really?
Evan: You know, there's too many Cinderella's out there. Let's shake things up.
Rebecca: Do you know what I hate most about fairytales? They set up false expectations. In the originals, the Prince Charmings didn't always sweep you off your feet. It's so unreal. Like love. The only time that ever works is in the movies.
Evan: Yeah, what's so great about Prince Charming, anyway?
Rebecca: I'm going to write a new fairytale where the Evil Queen and the Big Bad Wolf come to town, wreak havoc, and ride off into the sunset.
Evan: Sounds like a classic.
Rebecca: Uh, I'm going to go before my Benz turns into a pumpkin. Later.

Also. I've been watching Avatar: The Last Airbender season 1 episodes online because I'm saving up the money to buy the seasons on DVD right now. I still have an insane love for it. I want enough money to buy all three seasons now, damn it.

pairing: evan/rebecca, greek, avatar: the last airbender
