One Word Challenge
* I decided that as a way to work through myself, and find joy in life's simple things again; to learn, to grow, and to heal, I would start creative writing again. I used to sit at coffee shops and write and write. Somehow, over the years, I stopped doing that. Seldom can you find me in a coffee shop. Instead I hole myself up in the comfort of my bed, pressed down by the weight of a down-feather blanket. My lens through which I view the world has shifted. For the worse. So here I am, attempting to reawaken my creativity and take off my glasses, wet from fog.

"One Word Challenge". It goes like this:
1. You give me ONE word via comment. That word then becomes my topic, catalyst, inspiration, etc. And it can be virtually any word. It can be as simple as "And" and I promise I will find a way to write something stemming from that. It can be more specific like "Vegans" or "Vegas". It can be a little odd like "Purple" or "Emo". Or you can be really general like "Kids", "Death", or "Religion".
Obviously the odder the word the greater the challenge.
And I solemnly swear I will do an entry/essay with the word you give me! <-- Well no, actually to be honest, I don't.
2. If you want to be a participant in this little endeavor then I would encourage you to either do a "call out" post like this one or, if you'd like, I'll happily feed you a word. Just ask. :)
