The last post / LJ 18th anniversary
I've decided to stop crossposting to LiveJournal from Dreamwidth - it used to feel like a good method of backup as well as a way to keep in touch with people here, but I don't particularly want to have to import all my comments for posterity again the next time LJ does something silly.
I realised I didn't need to post here any more when I realised I no longer feel affection towards LJ as a site - it's about the people and the posting/archiving/filtering/community mechanics. Most of you have moved to DW, and if you haven't, I'm keeping this account (though I'll probably make the posts private at some point) so can still comment to your posts here.
