Writing Log: Dating Is Hard

"Missing You In Pieces" Writing Log

Type of scene: Making a date with a serial killer.
Challenge(s): Figuring out how to keep reader engagement in the sections that are just a woman getting into a relationship--esp. since it's not from her POV.
Which line is it anyways?"Believe me, it's difficult to kidnap a woman in broad daylight in front of everyone!"
Notes: Never realized how much of a romance's readability depended on the female POV being fairly tight and sympathetic and showing emotional involvement.
