I'm up pretty early
So last night was pretty fukin' awesome.
I stayed up until 4am by a fire in the middle of snowy woods with nine other people. It was awesome. The temp was about 10 degrees Fahrenheit and I had on two layers of legs, and fours layers of torso; also huge ass boots. We had a nice fire going, so it didn't feel all that cold. Boiled water. Made tea. Drank Mate (Pronounced matay). My jacket still smells like burning wood. It was so cold that the tea I had in my thermos froze. I went to bed and woke up about an hour later. Me and this other kid sat by the fire for a while. I wanted to be up to see the sun rise. When I would go into the woods to pee, I imagined that I was all alone in the middle of Alaska. It was such an eerie feeling. I felt so isolated from everything. Like no one was around me for hundreds of miles. Ghosts were my main concern. Me and the other kid went for a run. Mind you I had on huge boots, fifty layers of clothes, and we were running through the snow. The worse part was running uphill with everything to consider. When I woke up it was colder than before. So running was a good way to warm up.
