Back for a day

London was quite amazing. After I finally got accustomed to the British accents, it wasn't really any different from being in any other big city. That and everything was in pounds (and therefore twice as expensive). and stores and restaurants closed quite early. and free refills are nonexistent. and the drinking age was 18. and its not the loo or the w.c., its really the toilet. I just found it very quaint and I loved the British humor. Several of us discovered that it was a bit hard to "group" or "label" people because we weren't accustomed to the modern culture or society. I sortof began to place the dif british accents with people/class. Overall tho, it was a great trip, where I spent waaay too much money and took an insane amount of pictures (11 rolls of film).

I spent my day home at my grandmother's doing laundry, sleeping from 9pm last night until 2pm today, making phone calls, and being half dazed from jet lag, repacking, and dong stuff on the computer.

and tomorrow afternoon sometime, I leave for Texas, yeehaw!!! I'm pretty psyched. 6 days straight of Unitarian Universalists gathering in Fort Worth, Texas for workshops, worship, food, fun, fellowship, and general craziness. To top it off, I'm sharing 2 hotel rooms w/ 6 other youth - Phoebe, Jessica C, Molli, Sara, Sonja, and Matt. 6 nights of partying! Then we're visiting relatives for a 7-10 days after that and I may just go straight to Bham and stay w/ some friends until the Civil Rights workcamp that starts July 8. Not really sure where I'm gonna be after the workcamp, but I'll figure it out eventually.

Cheerio dahlings!!!! Call me or send me an email whenever. I'll have my cell and my laptop.
