I feel the need for a scientific post.
First of all, who saw the Discovery launch? Okay, well who EVEN KNEW ABOUT IT? Come on ignoramus', it's a big deal. Check it out on nytimes.com.
Second of all, I remember last year when we had that big conversation at lunch about environmentalists. Remember? Well, one issue I want to bring up again is the use of DDT. It's been blasted a huge amount by green groups, yet the advantages to saving human life greatly outweighs the minor environmental damage. Read about it here:
