Yesterday was a really good day. It wasn't because I watched the new Peter Pan at Zoe's house (although that was pretty good), and it wasn't because I'd downloaded EV Nova and can get it registered for free (although that was really good), but I called up Molly H and she was just as, uhhh, adamant about us having to hang out. So I just felt great that even though I've graduated and everything, I can still keep in touch with some people even if I didn't get to know them that well. Woohoo!
I also made $120 bucks. $70 of that was probably the easiest money I ever made. This guy contacted me through craigslist saying he needed these air conditioners moved from his office to the dump. I told him I'd do it for 20 bucks, plus the dump charge. The dump was gonna charge $25 a piece, so the guy wrote me a check for 70 bucks. Now there's this big truck in my back yard with a bunch of shit in it from all the construction, so I can just throw them in there for free! All in all, I made 70 bucks in about 10 minutes.
And I'm still working! I'm helping this 79 year-old woman organizing her garage and fixing her computer at $12.50 an hour. And I'm lucky, because I just woke up 40 minutes after I was supposed to BE there (damn you, EV Nova...), but she'll still take me back, as I put it. She was fine with it! I think some people get more laid back about time when they get older.
