Caution: Wet Floor!
Yesterday was the nicest day ever! What the hell happened??
Jeremie thegame2158 and I went to NYC, after a random, Hey want to go to New York tomorrow? Sure! Haha.
It felt like spring out, and we walked all over the place :) First we headed downtown to an anime store. I felt so old, since I barely recognized any characters except for some old skool ones. Oh well... Then we went back uptown and into the Manhattan Mall. I guess they were filming some movie in there, and kept blocking off certain areas, which was annoying.
Toys R Us in Times Square was definetely the best stop and we were the biggest kids in there! Jeremie took a bunch of pictures of stuff.. like the T-Rex which moved around and made noise. There was a jeepie, spider man, GI-Joe guys hanging from the ceiling, and a huge ferris wheel!!! The cars on it were all different like the mystery machine, sponge bob, my little pony, a cozy coupe, M&M's etc. Candy land.. which had candy for sale in it.. Had actual candy land characters in it, and the game pieces which were huge held bags to fill up. There was every color of M&M imaginable, and many I've never seen before! Next we went to The Bubba Gump Shrimp Company (like Forest Gump) and Jeremie got a hat :) Then we found Central Park after not finding Warner Bros. Those gates were still up, and were still nice though just someone's art project. We ventured over to FAO Schwartz, which was the biggest let down of the day! It's nowhere near as exciting and awesome as it was when I was younger... and just a disappointment all around.
I got a lovely phone call from work, which I shouldn't have answered, to go in that night at 11pm and work til 7am. Me, being the moron I am, said Ok. So we walking to Grand Central and came back to Greenwich. We had dinner at Pomadoro in Riverside then went up to my Aunt and Uncle's to get a computer and pet Petey! :)
Jeremie went home :( and I tried to sleep a little before work (which didn't happen) so I just took a shower and got my scrubs on. Work was crazy, with many unscheduled births, mostly C-Sections. I was exhaused this morning and went to hibernate!
The last thing I heard was at 7 something this morning then fell into a coma until 3:20. It was the perfect day to sleep! With the rain and snow.. I was warm and cozy in my bed :)
My mom and I watched Bourne Supremacy and I made taco casserole.. and it's almost back to work time for me... What a viscious cycle...

U2 is coming to Omaha on Dec 15!!! But of course I'll be gone in Ireland!! But it's soo cool that they will be going to Omaha!!! That means more awesome people will be coming :) Luckily I have my tickets for May! :)
