I uploaded a couple of new pictures... once I got comfortable with doing Peyote stitch after a few of the Delica cylinder-necklaces I've already shown you, I tried my hand at some pendants made from Svarovski crystals framed in Delica beads stitched with circular Peyote. This is a bit trickier than the simple cylinder beads, especially once you get to the part of fitting the crystal into the ring of Delicas and beading the other side to close it, but I figured it out eventually.

So here are the pendants I've made so far:

That was my first one, still very simple. The crystal in the middle is 14 mm in size.

A bit more complicated with some beaded tassels at the end; again with a 14 mm crystal.

Quite a bit more complicated this time, with two rings of 4mm bicones around a 14mm crystal.

And my most elaborate one so far - 27 mm crystal (so very shiny but unfortunately also rather expensive...) with hematite and crystal silver-lined Delicas on a chain made with Herringbone stitch. I haven't done much with this stitch yet, but I really like it - in a necklace made from Delica beads it almost looks a bit like scales, altough mine's not yet quite as regular as it should be.

Oh, and also? A little life lesson for people doing beadwork:

Empty Tic Tac boxes are excellent containers for small beads, especially the mints because they've got clear plastic.

Full Tic Tac boxes are also a good thing, because Tic Tacs are yummy.

However, while doing beadwork, you might want to avoid placing the Tic Tac box containing actual Tic Tacs right next to the box containing beads.

And for the record, no, I haven't eaten a bead yet. Came pretty close to a couple of times, though.
