Dear Santa, for Christmas I want a less scattered brain

Dear self,

when getting ready to go out and brave the abysmal mix of rain, snow and wind outside to go to the supermarket a few corners away, it is certainly a good thing to make sure you have enough bags to carry home your purchased products, as well as your scarf, gloves and umbrella because of aforementioned abysmal weather.

However, next time please do take the extra few seconds to check you haven't actually left your wallet containing all your cash, ATM card and credit card lying on your desk before taking off.

Failing that, even realising your complete lack of legal tender before filling up your shopping cart full with basic foods (e.g., bread, milk and Diet Coke) might be a good idea.

However, my heartfelt thanks to the nice store employee who had the decency not to laugh at me when I approached him rather sheepishly about my dilemma and let me park my full cart in the storage room while I sprinted home to fetch my wallet and back to pick up my cart again in record time through the rain/snow/gale.

*gasps for air*

It's a good thing that Christmas is coming up, because I obviously need a holiday.

*headdesks*

wtf
