The incredibly talented look_alive did 2 amazing drawings for my fic. I can't believe how lucky I am.

I need to go read the finished product and leave you a legit comment on the fic itself, but before that, can I just say how lucky I felt when I chose it and read it and it was. Just. This fic makes me really really happy. I'm so proud that it was my pick. I've been gloating for weeks.

Yeah, I plan on reading through the first one, so I guess I'll just go straight on through. My life is kind of in massive upheaval right now, so it's been taking me forever to read stuff, but I've seriously been stalking my flist for WEEKS, waiting for this to get posted.

The rough draft was fine, dude. Seriously, it thrilled me. I've read so many fics that take place in Chicago whose authors have obviously never set foot there, and yours basically ended up reading like a checklist of my big shiny YES YES YES buttons. For the Chicago thing and for many other things.

...While we're self-promoting, this is my blogspot with the rest of my stuff. Which is also on my LJ, but this is easier to find. /shameless

i hear you about life getting in the way. it took me FOREVER to finish this, and i'm glad I decided to do it as a bigbang. i guess i'm a little excited for it to be out in the world and see what people have to say.

Hahah thanks! Yeah, I've been on the fence about like, if I want to share the V&V things more. This bbb thing is the first actual fandom interaction I've taken part in, so. But I'm glad they cracked you up! I don't think I've ever had so much fun drawing anything, and I wanna figure out a follow-up project.
