So yeah. What happens when you make Mac hardware compatible with Windows?

I just lost all 4 gigs of music that was on my iPod that I brought from home when I connected it to Tal's PC.

So, how was your day?

Yeah... PCs are the devil to iPods... I used to be able to use my iPod as an in-between point for my Mac and my PC, but now the PC wants to reformat the iPod every time I plug it in. Luckily I have a choice...

That totally sucks. Why'd you plug it in? To charge or transfer information?

Yeah. To hell with PCs... Even though I own one back home-- I dunno. They just suck sometimes.

That is absolutely terrible man. I feel for you. I'm lucky enough to only have a PC, so I don't have any transition problems. I have, however, lost gigs and gigs of mp3s off my PC two or three times due to viruses and the subsequent reformats they entail. Once upon a time I had every Slayers song known to man... Hopefully you've still got the originals somewhere.

Goodness, man. I would have gone crazy. Luckily, most of my Super Eurobeat stuff was on my Mac, too, so I just transfered it back to my iPod. I reformatted it under my Mac so... I'm only using it on my Mac from now on.

Live and learn! :O

No worries. Just have to rebuild, as hard as that is to accept. -_-;

At least they have CD rental places here in Japan. ^^;

Why did that happen? I don't have any problems with my Ipod connecting to my PC.

Because Windows saw my iPod as "corrupt" which is BS because my Mac has been fine with it all year long. What Windows essentially did was corrupt the data itself. All the music was still on the iPod but it was all sorts of messed up.

I've known other people that have had this problem, too, so I guess you're lucky? Or I'm unlucky. Who knows. ^^;

*hugs* That happened to me when I connected my computer to my mother's computer. It's so annoying, isn't it?

Yeah. Super annoying! So, time to rebuild by renting Japanese CDs and ripping 'em.

Still, all my music from home... ;-;
