So, about Japan...
...that's where I am right now. Kyoto is much bigger than I expected. Holy crap. D: But it's damn nice. I counted about three really interesting classically-styled buildings on the drive here from the airport. Kyoto really is a nice blend of city and classical Japanese architecture.
Right now I'm just sitting in my room waiting for it to be 9AM so that I can go downstairs, check out, and fumble around with my poor Japanese about getting a taxi to the campus. :P
I'll update more later on. I'm pretty hungry at the moment. But in the meantime, for those that are interested:
