Comment: yay.

Ruki shrugged, he couldn't even think straight as he clung to the man unstably, "I want sex"

Reita's face went red. He knew how drunk the vocalist was at the moment but he also knew Ruki said things he normally wouldn't admit to while he was sober, "You're just drunk.... Ruki... you can't keep doing this to me if you don't love me... loveless sex is nothing. It means nothing. I don't want it.... It makes me feel like shit..."

Ruki protested very calmly, stumbling slightly as his foot caught on a slightly raised sidewalk crack, "I never s-said I didn't love you..."

Reita nerously looked towards him as they neared the apartment complex, "Then you do...?"

Ruki fumbled to find his key, taking far too long to respond in the process which only made the taller man bite his lip in anticipation, "...I'm mad at you.... but I do..."

He handed Reita the key rather clumsily almost dropping it to the ground in the process when he felt the bassist suddenly pull him into a hug. At first he didn't give into the warm security until he became dizzy and finally leaned in. As he felt the other man's embrace tighten Ruki couldn't help but sigh, one hand on the man's chest where he could feel Reita's heart pounding, "I'm still mad at you..."

"I know... I'm sorry..." the bassist let go of the other man to open the door to the building helping him to the lift- the stairs were out of the question for Ruki's and his saftey. He could just picture the two of them now one moment everything was okay and the next Ruki would lose his balance and send them both tumbling down. If the vocalist didn't live on the fifteenth floor the idea of stairs wouldn't have seemed that bad.

When they got in the elevator the vocalist gave him a small smile which fueled his own. He didn't even know why he was to begin with, it's not like things had gone well for him these past couple days. This is the most talking they've ever done with no hard feelings in a while and the one time they do get along okay Ruki just so happened to be drunk. He found himself biting his lip as they reached thier floor and helped the smaller man into his own home.

The short blonde wasted no time taking off his shoes, one hand on the wall to brace himself as he threw them to the ground and left them where they were as he made his way to the livingroom.

Reita moved into the kitchen and grabbed a glass from the cupboards, filling it with cold water. Ruki would definately need it in the morning. Moving back into the main part of the apartment he found the younger man sprawled out onto the couch, "Lets get you settled into bed... you look tired"

"I'm not tired" came a response from the man who was currently face down into the couch cushions.

"I believe you, although don't you think that the bed is a little more confortable than the couch?" Reita scratched his head and put on a rather stupid smile watching as the vocalist looked up and waved him off.

"Probably, but... I don't want to walk..." Ruki reasoned quietly.

"You cant be serious that you're going to sleep there when the bed is 60 seconds away from the couch. Come on, I won't let you crash here when you could be more comfortable" The taller man insisted as he moved to the couch and set the glass down. He grabbed Ruki's arm awkwardly and pulled helping the man to sit up although he wasn't putting any effort to help him out at all.

"If you don't help me out a little I'll end up dragging you there..."

"Drag me then... I dont feel like moving"

Reita stood by his word, pulling the man off the couch until he landed on the floor with a dull thud. Threading his arms under Ruki's underarms he began to pull, Ruki laughing for a moment until Reita grinned, "You're going to have rug burn on that ass of yours if you dont move!"

The vocalist knew that the taller man had a point, even now as he was being pulled across the floor he could feel his pants sliding down slowly from the friction, "Mmn, at the rate you go all you'll manage is to take my pants off..."

Reita shook his head, "Not that the idea isn't very tempting but I'd like to see you in bed rather than on the floor sleeping tonight...."

Ruki pulled his arms away and got up, stumbling into the wall in the hall clumsily as he lost his balance, "I'm okay..."

He lead the man to his bed helping him undress and get under the covers, "You're going to be okay for the night? Anything else you need before I leave?"

"Company...? Stay with me..." Ruki shifted over in the bed and patted down the spot beside him invitingly. He didn't want to be left alone he was getting sick of it besides, he had an excuse. He was drunk and could blame it on the alcohol in the morning if things ended up going sour.

The bassist looked down to the floor, yes he was being invited right now but how welcome would he be the next morning when the vocalist sobered up?  "Are you sure Ru?"

"I'm sure. Come join me" Ruki watched as Reita debated joining deciding to pull the sheets up and pat the spot again to make his point. He knew the bassist wanted to join it was just a matter of hooking him in.

After a moment of hesitation the bassist relented and moved to take off his shirt and pants before moving under the covers quietly, "Best I keep an eye on you anyways, I suppose tomorrow isn't going to be pretty"

"Probably not"  the vocalist shifted closer until his body rested up against the other man. He could feel Reita sigh against him. To the bassist this only reminded him of when they were together as a couple. He missed the closeness and being able to lay down together in bed and do nothing. He had taken it for granted, all of it.

"Ru?"

"Hmmn?"

"Did you mean it?"

The vocalist cracked an eye open and looked at him, "mean what?"

"That you still love me..."

Ruki shifted over, slinging an arm over Reita's chest as he spoke, "Akira... I LOVE you. I still love you...."

"Why didn't you say it?" The bassist took Ruki's hand in his own only to have Ruki pull it away and place it overtop of his instead.

"Because you hurt me... " The vocalist looked up at him with eyes that could only drown Reita in sorrow. He hated to see this look on Ruki's beautiful features especially knowing he caused it. The truth was when this had happened he never thought about how much it would hurt Ruki to find out. He wasn't thinking at all. The only thing that mattered to him at that time was the pleasures he craved and it got the better of him.

"You hurt me so bad... I thought you were the best thing that ever happened to me... and then you did this to me. I... for once I wanted you to hurt just as much as I do. I want you to understand what it feels like..." Ruki's grip suddenly tightened, "Why would I tell you I love you if you slept with Uruha?"

Reita frowned and cuddled close, "I'm sorry Taka... I can't tell you how sorry I am... I wasn't thinking straight... if I could take it all back to see you smile... to have us together again I would... I'm so sorry..."

"I know you are...."

"Will you ever forgive me?"

Ruki paused quietly, his hand finally leaving Reita's so that he could lay his head on the bassist's chest, "I want to...one step at a time right...?"

Reita ran his hand through Ruki's hair lovingly, "Right..."

Reita nodded as Ruki sat up and leaned forward before the bassist moved up to meet the man's lips half way, "Promise me you'll remember this in the morning..."

Ruki cupped the the bassist's cheek gently, "I promise..."

"Good night Reita..."

"Night Ru..."

---

Even as Reita went to sleep with his arms around the vocalist's frame and his body curled around Ruki's own he felt uneasy. The image of Uruha's face still burned into his memory, the times where they snuck behind Ruki's back to copulate still fresh in his mind. He felt bad, but Reita couldn't even escape him in his dreams, the one place where real life didn't seem to matter.

"Come on Reita, it's not like you have to pick him up now... We still have half an hour before he even gets out from signing all that paperwork" Uruha pleaded as he threaded his arm around the tall blondes, "lets have sex now"

Reita bit his lip in thought looking at his watch absent mindedly, "I dont know if it's such a good idea, I keep picking him up late and he's already beginning to suspect something"

"So what? you have a bit of a time-management problem! Not being punctual is common for most people!" Uruha insisted as he leaned his body against the other man, practically offering himself.

"Before this I was never late. He'll catch us if we're not careful kouyou... we'll have more than a time-management problem on our hands if he does" He became very quiet as he felt a warm hand moved down his chest slowly, edging closer to where he dreaded and looked forward to his ghostly touch. He could feel it even in his dream the warmth seeping through his pants as the guitarist fondled him and thats when...

He woke up. His heart racing as he realized it wasn't Uruha but Ruki who had seemingly placed his hand in that spot while sleeping.

"Ruki...?" Reita's voice barely came out as a whisper, biting his lip at the warmth that spread throughout his whole body at this point.

"Nn...?"

"Maybe you should move your hand..." Reita suggested quietly, shifting uncomfortably when Ruki didn't move from his spot.

"...what were you saying about time-management...?"

"Did I say that out loud...? sorry..." He felt his cheeks begin to burn, the only thing on his mind was the sparks that touch was sending to his groin, "Ru... your hand...."

"Oh right..." The vocalist tightened his grip gently before he finally let go. He was half asleep and only the slightest bit aware of what was going on, it didn't take him long to return to a light alcohol induced sleep while Reita tossed and turned in the bed for the remainder of the night turned on and bothered.

----

Uruha found himself in one hell of a situation. He knew at this point what a mess he had created of everything. Aoi was mad. And he knew that the brunette had every reason to be. Not once had he ever been fair to his boyfriend and although Uruha knew that Aoi was still very much in love with him at the moment it would eventually change.

The truth was he was afraid. Afraid for being alone and the mistakes he had made. The two of them together have had a beautifully simple relationship together. They at one point in time were in love with one another and even Uruha thought that he had found the person he wanted to be with for the rest of his life. Somewhere down the line things had changed and as he sat in his apartment alone smoking he tried to think of where things had gone wrong.

Reita. The confident and quiet man who came off as a bad ass or rather, did before this whole situation came up.  He wasn't sure what attracted him to the bassist in the first place. Perhaps it was the confidence which had caught his attention, or his unavailability which made him seem so much more attractive. Either way he started things, he was the instigator of all problems and the devil to his friend's eyes.

The problem was sex with no strings never stayed the same forever, eventually feelings began to play a part into it. What started out as just some wild forbidden sex soon became love-making in Uruha's eyes. His feelings had changed, and soon he found himself a mess in front of this man. His heart would beat wildly in his chest, his knees went weak and cheeks would tint a violent shade of red.

It was funny how foolish the human heart was, how easily it could be captivated how easy it was to break. He knew Aoi was right, that he would end up lonely and how it would be entirely his fault. Part of him began to feel guilt set in for what he had done as he picked up his phone to call his ex boyfriend. The phone rang as he waited for an answer.
