I just wanted to say...
That I'm in the midst of 3 ebook projects. With a fourth planned.
I'm going to be doing a fancy " General Relativity" one that has been on my mind since another anon mentioned it but then disappeared. So I have someone designing a cover for it and I'll be getting a copy of the shiny version from Kay when it's done and it's going to be the best. I 'practiced' with the current meme version (and found out exactly where the roman numerals got messed up), but didn't do any real editing on it aside from the numerals. Hopefully the final version will be super-awesome and people will actually want it.
Today I picked back up the crazyness that is " Invasion". I say crazyness because I'm a psycho grammar nazi and have to basically beta the whole thing, which is such a pain. But! I did learn how to do footnotes for the Russian, and I found a cool sunflower cover page in Word. I'm not sure if it'll transfer to the final pdf, as a previous cover page didn't, but we'll see. I'll have to fiddle around with that. Technically I'm almost half-way, part-wise (just started 25 of 56), except the parts get longer as we go and 55 and 56 are split into at least 5 more parts. So. There's that. It'll probably take me all summer to do...
Just for fun I decided I needed to do "Part Right, Half Wrong, a Third Crazy" (from ffn), because it's pretty awesome and fun and the best. Very minimal editing on that one, mainly just formatting. And, since it's not from lj, I don't have to deal with irritating tab-overs fucking up everything, just ridiculous between-paragraph spaces. Which really isn't all that bad. It hasn't been updated in almost a month though because the author went on vacation and then... hasn't updated. But yes.
And today I decided I needed to compile 3 super-great FrUK fills into one epic document. It's going to be " Sign a New Agreement with iTunes," " Well Acquainted Strangers," and " Anatomy of an Amalgomous Relationship." Two of those aren't finished yet, but there's just one part left in AAR. And I get to fiddle with images in the document, since the shiny version of SNAiT (lol) has sticky notes in it. BUT! I won't be starting that until I finish either GR or "Invasion", as that's just too much work for me.
Oh, I should probably attempt to contact the authors for permission shouldn't I...
Unrelated: follow me on tumblr because that's where I live. I seriously don't even check my flist anymore, not since the beginning of May. It was just so full and I was hardly interested in anything. tumblr is cooler anyway...
