itaintrite recommended a CG program in
kiraxcagalli_gs yesterday so I decided to give it a try... and boy, isn't it an amazing program... :D
I always knew that Photoshop weren't meant for CGing (it's originally mean for photo-editing, hence the name), but I never found any program that was dedicated to drawing manga/doujinshi... so I was really really really happy when I found OpenCanvas XD
Unlike Photoshop where you'd need to figure out how to work the settings in order to get the brush simulate the effect of differnt medium... OpenCanvas comes with a large library of traditional media, such as pencil, pen, ink pen, marker, paint brush, etc :) It is a lot easier to make a sketch using OpenCanvas than in Photoshop now XD But on the other hand, some of their tool are not as advance as Photoshop, their crop tool particularly caused me pain lol... I suppose I will probably be doing my preliminary sketch and colouring in OpenCanvas then do my finishing on Photoshop XD.
PS. The person who took this picture and wrote on it is Cagalli!
