Sunlight shimmering
Glancing off deep blue water,
Cool breeze floating by
I go for a swim
The waves breaking on my back
till night approaches
The stars appear now
Moonlight piercing through the cloud
I watch the day fade
It is day to day
New start to begin
The sun is bright
Too bright hurting eyes
Colored dots ahead of me
I can't find my friend
I hope she is there,
Waiting for me somewhere near,
Pain, my deepest fear.
Am I without her
Not just here in this cool place
But in all of life
Ocean's mystery
If she will return to me
on another day
Wait for a lifetime.
Just to see your face, need her,
something missing, empty
Bottle up old love,
forget the despondency
throw it out to sea
