The Songs That Won the War

Hey, do you like music? I know I do!

My radio show, "Biomusicology," is back for summer with a delicious new timeslot: Wednesdays 6 - 8pm Central Daylight Time.

That's 11pm - 1am GMT (I'll play great coming-home-from-the-pub music!)
That's 7-9pm Eastern (listen because there's nothing good on TV!)
That's 5-7pm in the ROCKY MOUNTAIN EMPIRE (listen right after you get off work!)
That's 4-6pm Pacific (why are you listening? It's still light out, you should be on the beach!)

Listen online here: http://wrvu.org/

Note: it's annoying, but you need RealPlayer to make the feed work. If it doesn't work, try downloading the latest version - but even that doesn't work all the time. The internet feed isn't a priority at WRVU, which somehow finagled a 10,000 watt license here in Nashville. Who gives a college station 10,000 watts?

You can listen to the previous week's show here. I would post the full show online, but that's not kosher, copyright-wise.

This week: new music from Death Cab and Mates of State, great music from Nashville, and the first installment of a radio serial featuring everybody's favorite fictional archaeologist/snake phobic, Indiana Jones. (What do you think will be the creepy nemesis of Indy 4? I'm guessing scorpions.)

In a transparent effort to emulate Ms. J.K. Anderson, I will post setlists here on LJ/Facebook. It'll be a lot of fun, I hope you can tune in!
