I am alive, and how I know it!
So, I have decided to bring this journal to life. Why now? Well, I've finished my thesis, so I have slightly more free time.
But mainly, I had always intended to start a blog after graduation. I realized that there will soon be great distances between me and pretty much everyone I know. Since real connections will be difficult to maintain, virtual connections can perhaps compensate in a small way. So, this now-functional journal is an effort to keep others up to date on what I'm up to, while keeping myself up to date on what others are up to. (Diagram that sentence, suckers!)
Anyway, stay tuned as I struggle through the basic LJ issues that all of you figured out years ago! Watch as Devin tries to learn how to use a cut, or how to write marginally interesting updates!
But seriously, folks. Coming up is the definitive list of everything I learned in college (outside of the classroom). Also, I should know what I'll do with the next two years of my life within the next week or so. Keep your eyes peeled and your browsers on your friends page.
