mod post: Final Fantasy VII!

I've been playing Final Fantasy VII since I was a little kid, and I just started playing again for the... what, 67th time in ten or so years? (Words can't describe how much I love that game.) I've shipped Cloud/Aerith for at least the past seven years, and Advent Children obviously had nothing to do with it. Anyway, I was just wondering, when did you guys play FFVII for the first time? How did you feel about the game? How many of you saw Advent Children first, and how did/does that affect how you feel about Cloud/Aerith?

If you haven't played the game, EXPLAIN YOURSELF! :P I know Advent Children was full of Clerissy moments that the original game didn't have, but... come on. ;) The original is so much better -- AC's got nothin' on FF7.
