You Could Be On the Veronica Mars S3 DVD!

Okay, Cloud Watchers, it's time to shine for our show. Alex Mercer with Slaverats, Inc. emailed me the information about their fan featurette. I highly encourage you all to submit a video. For more information on how to submit a video to Slaverats, Inc., click below.
Just so there's no confusion, this video is not the same as the video
athenacqd and I are making. Although they are very similar, their intent is quite different. Our video will be used to campaign for a season 4. Rob's version is going to be featured in the Season 3 dvd bonus material. I spoke with Rob last week, and he was supportive of our fan video campaign and was glad we were still planning to make it. I would love for you all to submit videos to both projects. I've had a lot of submissions of videos and photos from various events, but not many "talking head" videos. This is not the time to be shy, Folks. Send us your VM love! Also, I'm extending our deadline to April 1st. That will give me a few weeks to edit our video and upload it so it can be used to campaign for the stand-alone episodes that will begin airing on May 1st.
Calling Our Biggest Veronica Mars Fans!
We want you... to be part of a Special Feature on the Season 3 DVD.
We plan on including a feature on the Season 3 DVD the features our fans talking about “Veronica Mars.” Now’s your chance to show planet Earth how you feel about Neptune.
We’re looking for video of you (plus a friend or two if you'd like) telling us about your passion for all things Veronica. Just set a camera up, fill the frame with yourself (and your friends, if they’re in it with you,) and tell us about how you feel about “Veronica Mars.” We’ll pick our favorites to include on the official Season 3 DVD.
Some discussion starters include, but are not limited to, the following...
- How and when did you first discover “Veronica Mars?”
- What is it about Veronica Mars and her band of cohorts that drew you to the show?
- Was there a particular moment that got you hooked on the show?
- What keeps you tuning in?
- Who is your favorite character and why?
- What sort of interaction do you have the the Veronica Mars fan community?
- Any favorite lines from the show? Take a stab at performing it!
- And, if you have a question you’re itchin’ to ask show creator Rob Thomas, just look right into the camera and ask.
Something like: “Hey, Rob. Why is Veronica so mean in Season 3?”
Again, the above questions are only a guide and you should feel free to speak on other subjects and not respond to all or any of these suggested questions.
Technical Specs:
We are looking for the best quality videos we can get. This means original tapes -- not dupes -- are best. MiniDV is best of all. Standard-Def is better than High Def for this particular project. We don’t want DVD’s, they are too compressed.
The biggest issue will be sound. Make sure you have good audio. Shoot in a quiet environment.
Also, we cannot have anything in the frame that is trademarked. That means no artwork in the background, no logos on clothing, no recognizable brand name products, no music (unless you wrote it and give us permission to use it), no video clips of the show (we will put these in ourselves).
We will need anyone who appears in the video to sign the release that's provided below.
We must reserve the right to refuse any submission we receive.
