The months all seem to blur together after awhile, especially when common events transpire from month to month.
Apparently Sentinels were the least of the X-Men and others' problems. Not only has Graydon Creed become presient of the United States but the Xavier Institute was taken over by the military, forcing the occupants to flee to Louisiana until another alternative could present itself. All over the country mutants are finding themselves more and more in danger and there are even those that have disappeared completely.
All thanks to President Creed's new 'mutant safe houses' in Canada, one could assume.
With many of their students and staff members missing now, the remaining members of the Xavier Institute are left with a difficult decision. They know that the 'safe houses' are in Canada and they even have two escapees from said places but, like the asylum in Spain, they have no way of knowing what to expect. No telepath in their ranks can break through to get a glimpse of the 'safe houses' and hacking has proved, thus far, useless leaving the X-Men and others with only one thing to do:
Wait.
But this waiting game in itself has proven dangerous, as President Creed has also declared an unofficial war on the mutant friendly states Louisana, Massachuetts, and California, declaring that they two must act with the rest of the country and require all mutants to register and be moved to Canada for the time being.
Though, there is hope.
The former military run island of Genosha has become a center of attention as Wanda Lensherr, Namor McKenzie, and others plan for an all out seige of the island in hopes of turning it into a safe place for mutants to live. Hope also comes in the form of a one Nathan Summers, whose quest for the mysterious pieces of Providence has finally finished, and he, along with his partners in crime, have begun work on yet another safe haven, though this one is not closed to just mutants. With time running out, plans are being pushed forward sooner than expected, each party hoping to finish before it's too late.
The race is on.
