TBS has been playing "Head of State" a lot. I don't know what they're trying to say, but I'm pretty fucking sure I don't like it.

Look who it is!

Is "Head of State" the one with Chris Rock? Where he says something about raising the roof b/c the roof is on fire, and all the white people run away?

I'm not a fan of the movie. It's clearly because I hate black people, especially ones in power, not because it's not a fine piece of cinematography.

Perhaps, but can you at least appreciate the beautiful irony of putting the movie on your network because you hate black people (and are trying to get them to vote republican, hoping they see what a 'darn silly thing' it is to put black people in office?) Pretty amazing, even if it did make me want to peel the skin off the sons of bitches with a zester. To quote the repugnant caveman fuck in the new Gyco commercial. "I get it! I quit... but I get it."

My favorite morning show here in town keeps playing a clip that I think is from that movie, and saying it's an important part of Obama's latest speech. It's Chris Rock saying "Where the white women at!?" They do it in jest, but also show the ridiculousness at the fact that some people think that's exactly what will happen (or the enslavement of the white race...)

You sure it was Chris Rock, or this clip of Cleavon Little from "Blazing Saddles?"

I don't know what shocks me more, the blatant racism at this time, in this place, for this man, or the fact that even though we're full up of such idiots, that he's still winning in the polls.

People should just learn to light themselves on fire before they display such idiocy and sheer ignorance.

Honestly I have no idea where the clip really comes from, but it does remind me of the movie you mentioned.

It amazes me how much Barack Obama gets labeled as a black man based purely on the color of his skin, when the truth is that his mother is white and his cultural upbringing is much closer to middle class white America than the lower class black America that so many seem afraid of.
