i find that office life is so much better
when i choose a nemesis.
as crazyhead will remember,
while i worked at BCJ,
my nemesis was "pale red head lawyer guy."
if i find the many entries he inspired,
i will link you.
we're all aware of my superhero complex, me included.
you could look at me declaring a nemesis
as a way to focus fake hatred on a nameless person
in order to divert my attention from other things
more directly (and realistically) in my way that could affect me,
but i care to think i've got my eye on the evil super-villains
that lurk through office life,
just in case i need to take them out.
it's for all of our benefit, not just mine.
i have chosen a new nemesis.
it is "eat ice cream while not looking where he's going" guy.
i mean...i'm pretty sure he won't always be eating an ice cream,
but that's not the point.
some would say his need to take up the entire 8 foot width of the hallway
just emphasizes his wonderful carefree love of his delicious ice cream,
but i know evil hallway domination when i see it.
it was insane.
i mean, this place is big yet over-crowded,
so people almost bump into me all of the time,
but this was more like a crazy-legged magnet dance towards me,
like "YIPPIE YAHOOO DELICIOUS THIS IS SOME CONFUSINGLY AMAZING ICE CREAMY WONDERMENT WOULD YOU LIKE TO WEAR SOME YOUNG SIR IN THE GREEN SHIRT K THANKS" as he rockets zig-zagingly towards me with clumsy neck-breaking speed.
i hate jerks.
in our last encounter, he was reading a document he had just grabbed from the fax machine.
apparently it was a super top secret sensitive document that needed his immediate undivided attention,
and couldn't wait the precious 13 seconds it takes him to get back to his desk.
never mind the rest of us in this office.
we all have to watch where WE'RE going,
but j. edgar hoover needs to read his precious fax.
next time he gets a fax it'll ME faxing him
to watch where the fuck he's going.
