we saw the greatest thing friday night.
my guitarist called me to remind me of this band he told me about
that was playing at this new punk rock bar called the spitfire.
we were a little late getting there,
as it was impossible to find parking,
but once we got in it was divine.
everyone in the band was between the ages of 13-14,
except the singer, who was 7.
it was amazing!
that little kid can shred.
i still can't remember what the name of the band is,
but i'll hear it again.
they've only been together for 6 months or so,
and they rule.
the place was packed, of course, though.
so packed with smoke,
that the next day i was on the phone with my mom
and i nervously picked up a quarter and played with it...
after putting it down
my hand smelled terribly like smoke.
