It's so lonely 'round the Fields of Athenry

But it sure as hell ain't lonely at a Dropkick Murphy's concert, especially with The Crew!!! We kicked it off with dinner at The Longhorn, which was good as always, then we went to the concert. The opening bands sucked unfortunatly, we had a punk band from China, so it was HILARIOUS to hear them speek, the we had a band who i think were latino or mexican punk, which was even worse, haha. Dropkicks were absolutly amazing though. The concert started and so did the mosh pits, lol. So Jon and I bolted for one before Sparrow and Justin could even notice we had left, but eventually they followed us and all hell broke loose, hehe. I know I nailed a couple people good in the face, haha oops, oh well. I also got a shiload of beer poured on me.

The set list was amazing, they played almost everything I wished they would and then some! Boys On The Docks, For Boston, The Gang's All Here, As One, Skinhead on the MTA, Dirty Glass, Fields of Athenry, Blood and Whiskey, Spicy McHaggis, and many many many more songs (they were out for over an hour and a half). Damn good times, great way to end the break!

Well the devil's nipping at your heels and this time it's for real
A lonely hunger starts to gnaw as you wish away the pain
Of another desperate dead end day forever filled with sadness
To forget about the pain you take your bottle, drink your grave

Singing Hail, Hail, the Gangs All Here.
Leave your worries at the door boy, they're not going anywhere
Hail, hail the gang's all here
When the going gets tough, I know my friends will still be there

Well you're walking down the road and the wind is in your face
You're down and out and the unemployment line's a mile long
The money in your pocket may not get you through the day
But cheer up son I know a place where mugs like us belong

Singing Hail, Hail, the Gangs All Here.
Leave your worries at the door boy, they're not going anywhere
Hail, hail the gang's all here
When the going gets tough, I know my friends will still be there

Pick your heart up off the ground though I'm sure it weights a ton
You're no better or no worse than any mothers son
Though you're up against all odds and you're backed against the wall
You recall the cheer, "The Gang's All Here" and shout!

Singing Hail, Hail, the Gangs All Here.
Leave your worries at the door boy, they're not going anywhere
Hail, hail the gang's all here
When the going gets tough, I know my friends will still be there
