Hurrah for Spring!

Even though it's cloudy outside and keeps raining, I feel all springlike. I get woken up by birdsong in the morning. The tree outside my bedroom window is in blossom. I find myself humming Charles Trenet songs. I want to drink Lorina pink lemonade and have picnics and buy summer hats and paint my toenails pink and look at lambs and little ducklings and foals walking on wobbly legs.

It's not too long before there will be asparagus.
