Tuesday:
We had a leisurely late start today as Seanan's mother (accompanied by Mo, one of Seanan's sisters) drove us to the Danville and the doll-shop again... where the owner surprised us by not being snooty at all, but instead welcoming us with open arms and allowing us to rampage (figuratively speaking) through her shop exclaiming over the dolls.
Tom crumbled first and bought the male Tonner New York City Ballet doll (

My purchases were smaller and cheaper, but I admit I crumbled in the face of temptation.
I got Tonner's answer to Wednesday Addams - Agness Dreary (

Then we went to meet Seanan and Kate and were taken back to Kate's place where she plied us with knitting (a lovely colourful felted bag for me which she knitted for an experiment and had no use for when it was done, and a lovely shawl which she needed a home for and which screamed "Kari" at us... so it's Kari's). Herr boy friend, GP, cooked (for hours) and I'm fairly sure I offended him by not having any of it (steak - but he did stuff to it!) and we had a fab and fun, time discussing many subjects including Fandom and Filk Fandom - and a wild time being amazed by cuttlefish (particularly the small, poisonous ones they found in...well, off to be more precise... Australia)
It rained (finally caught up to where we had gone and followed us form England!) and Seanan begged her Mum to come collect us and drive us back to Concord.
Another late night.
