Hello folks!
Does anyone else here use a front-loading high efficiency washer to care for their pads?
I know they save water which is GREAT: part of why I use cloth pads is for the environmental benefits...which is why I prefer to air dry instead of machine dry, as well.
But, I've found that the bamboo velour gets stiff and kind of...clumpy...it doesn't feel clean after I wash it, even when I do the "extra water spinsense" cycle in my washer.
When I had a top-loading washer, I used to throw my pads directly into the wash, and had no problem getting them clean. I've now added a cold water soak before washing my pads, but the velour ones still don't feel quite as clean as I'd like.
