Does anyone know how often Lunapads has their 20% off sale?

I'm going to order my sister almost a hundred dollars worth of products so it would be nice to save 20%. Their last sale ended on 4/16, anyone know when the next one might be? She hasn't got her period, but I don't want to wait so long that she has to use disposables for her first one.

If she's never used cloth pads before, you may not know if lunapads will be perfect for her body. I had to buy different pads from many people to see what worked for my flow. I'm glad someone told me not to buy a bunch from one seller of a type I didn't know would work for me. I'd suggest buy a few from a few different places of different absorbencies and shapes. Then, when she does, she can tell you what types worked best for her.

It's once a year, sorry to say.

I also completely agree with diamere that it'd be better to build her a stash of a couple of pads from each of several sellers rather than a large quantity from a single seller, because she might not like the same things in pads that you do.

As everyone has said here before, it is *not* wise to purchase a ton of pads from the same seller. The reasons are because not every cloth pad works for every woman. For example..I prefer Sckoon pads over Lunapads. Or I prefer pads that flare out at the end versus pads that do not and have a straight shape, etc ( ... )

i def agree with getting multiple styles and letting her choose. i just had an incident where i realized a style of pad that i bought leaked so horribly that it made its way through my jeans! it didnt leak straight down just sideways because im so small it wasnt fitting right and went right over the side... now i have to find out what im going to do with those (3) pads since i absolutely hate them now.

Maybe the pad is too wide and too long for your petite size :(
No problem! I try to link every now and then! Good luck with your hunt!

I think what I will do is have her wear one of my lunapads and see how she likes the feel. I have done a lot of online shopping and I love the luna pads design, especially since you remove only the top layer. Very convenient for a middle-schooler who wants a quick easy change, and a couple layers will probably make her feel more protected from leaks.

She can't try mine out for her period right now because she hasn't started it yet (but should soon). I want her to have her own personal stash ready for her when she starts.
