So, January 1st has been good. I spent my day cooking, then got invited to a friend's house for dinner. It turns out there were four families there--lots of phone calls and last minute planning--so we all brought what we had been cooking and had more than plenty to eat. The kids made gingerbread houses while the adults sang karaoke. Another late night of getting home at 2am. *yawns*
