holy cow, it has been a while!
Wow. So much has happened between the last, first and only post and this one...
I finished an insane spring semester, went straight into studying for my French exams for my Master's (which I passed), and then into a summer course. Finished that and went to Oklahoma three weeks, stayer with my lovely friends Matt and Beth (thanks guys!) and talked with the Otoe-Missouria tribe about the photographs and documents I've been working with since 2004 as my thesis project. Came home, wrote the thesis, found out I had to design an exhibit to go with it. Designed the exhibit. Wrote the thesis while taking my last two classes for my library science degree. Successfully defended my thesis Friday Dec 9, finished my last paper 2 weeks later, and I graduate this Saturday.
Meanwhile, in recent happenings, I seem to have the death touch. A close friend badly broke her ankle; my husband has a nasty cold (which he had better not give to me); and now my sister is in the hospital. Yeesh.
Lots of stuff happening, but now I finally have time for updating this thing regularly! Hooray.....
