It's chilly in the house. The heater is really having a hard time keeping up. Normally we have good luck with heat, but with it being below 20 in the mornings and only getting close to 40, it's been hard to keep the chill out of the house.
Mike and Ryan were goofing off earlier and Mike tripped over the Christmas lawn deer he bought on clearance. Mike was kind of mad it was on the floor to begin with and gave us dirty looks. I looked back and said, "Oh dear!" He tried so hard to NOT laugh, but he couldn't control himself.
I started taking the tree down last night. We still need to remove the garland, take off the lights and break the tree down into it's box. We'll probaby do that tomorrow.
I did laundry tonight. I wanted my dining room table back. Since we closed the door it's too cold to hang out on the porch folding laundry, so I've been sorting it into "His, Her and Ryan" piles on the dining room table, near the heat.
I've got bread in the machine, it should be done around 1am or so. I LOVE that machine. Ryan likes cinnamon bread - no raisins, extra cinnamon. I like a fluffy honey oatmeal bread I stumbled upon. We both did NOT like the apple pie bread - it was too heavy. We took it to South GA with us for New Years, Tina & Bobby and their kids liked it. Tina wants a bread machine of her own now. I might give her my smaller one. They found that her daughter's seizures are aggravated by Tylenol and caffeine, so they're trying to eat more natural. They've got Wheat bread, and it would probably be better if she could bake her own without preservatives.
Well, we've supposedly got wet weather headed our way next week. They say the system that's hitting California right now will come over the Applachian mountains and whomp us. Know what I say? Bring it on, baby, bring it on. :)
