What the fuck!
I totally didnt post about the cottage.
We randomly went up to Kates super awesome cottage last week, tuesday and wednesday nights. Paul B, Galen, Alex, Jasmine, Kate and I piled into my clunker and hit the highways in high style! The drive up in the Beast on great northern highways was actually very awesome, we sped the entire way.
More awesome? The cottage itself. Armed with four bottles of wine and a two-four we set to exploring the amazingly huge and beautiful cottage, complete with a wall of windows facing the lake, a seperate cabin and garage, a private dock, and SPEEDBOAT. We partied until we dropped then woke up to buy another two two-fours, more wine, tequila, and groceries! Our breakfast was an amazing batch of vegetable scrambled eggs, then the trials and tribulations of boat-key finding were dealt with.
Its called the Jiphy because thats exactly how long it takes to get anywhere in that boat. I clocked 50 mph on the way out when we went waterskiing, the boys who made it up on the skiis were doing a good 40 =D. I wont rant, but driving that boat was amazing, a jet-ski in large format.
Paul definately gets kudos for slipping off the tow-rope and continuing to ski for a good 25 metres before sinking into the water, and to Galen for skiing with a joint in his mouth. Classy!
More partying, swimming, canoe-hotboxing, huge campfires, another great breakfast, burgers, did I mention partying? And one midday trip to find a pineapple and marshmallows...
Kates cottage gets a clean 10/10, despite the non-working hottub, which would have bumped it to an 11. The cottage and the cottage crew were awesome, and now that this has been commemorated with an entry, I can go to sleep. Adieu my friends, a demain!
