LJ vs Tumblr
The reason i haven't been as active of late is because I've been on tumblr. GEEZ, that place is exciting, more than a 100 new posts pop up on my feed like,every hour during the weekends, and for the rest, its like 100+/12 hours if i'm lucky.
so yeah, busy.
not to mention, i mainly use LJ to catch up on scanlating groups, but that's been pretty quiet recently what with exams, RL issues and many fans i call, 'my generation' who stopped scanlating (a few golden groups came down this past 6 months!)...which reinforces my move to tumblr. I suppose i'll be mainly using LJ for anime review/response posts in the future. or will tumblr will replace that too?
what do i do with you, LJ, when you become a stagnant pool with no kiddes visiting?
wait, waht am i saying?....being a quiet pond is one of the charming points actually, as of yet I've had very little people bother me when i post, and its privacy in the open that i cherish. my little metaphorical private mental beach.
tumblr is chaotic, i can't keep check of my posts or control who gets to see them easily. and people randomly see my activity and respond to it with likes....which is new and semi-disorienting.
its like an open nudie mansion party waiting for orgies to happen. aka people respond to lewdness way too fast and too happily.
