Although I myself have not seen ‘Chariots of Fire’, I quite enjoyed reading your entry.
I found your take on the quote you mentioned to be rather interesting. I liked the way in which you related it to your own life and your sporting achievements, despite it containing an element of faith.
I agree with you in regards to “utilising our gifts as much as we can”, whether it be the gift of speed and athleticism, or intellectual giftedness.
I hope that you continue to feel empowered and proud of your athletic triumphs.
I am sure that sticking to the things that you not only love and enjoy doing, but are also accomplished at, will take you far in life.
