More proof that I seem completely incapable of finishing games before starting a new one: The Last Remnant is pretty rad. I really dig the battle system, even if it is governed by the Random Number God (lol no i won't let you heal whut).
More importantly, and very relevant to my interests, it's gay. Gay with sprinkles. Aww, we can't say no to Dave! And normally I don't go for bleached blond guys with surfer tans, but oh, he's so hot. I think it's the voice.
Also, Emma Honeywell is the most badass videogame female ever. And the music is so good. SO GOOD.
ETA: Cavalry Call sucks ass. "Yes, this battle's almost over! ...oh, fuck no, fucking Cavalry Call. ...What the hell, six new unions?! And there goes my morale bar..."
ETA2: OH GOD GATES OF HELL. My own summon trying to murder me is not what I call a fun time, game. And I'd got it down to critical HP too :(
